Hi: I'm a Hong Kong based writer, photographer and filmmaker with a strong interest in wildlife and conservation. Especially as I have an Indonesian wife, I love visiting the country, including to look for wildlife. To me, it is good you have info on Flora and Fauna; but could be much more as Indonesia may be the world's top country for biodiversity. On your website, I see only few articles in the Flora and Fauna category; three on Sulawesi; not with much about the marine life [not my specialty, but an interest; even been to a "sea gypsies" village]. Nor mention of Wallacea; the discoveries of Alfred Russell Wallace - with the fascinating natural divide between Eurasian and Australasian plants and animals. [not a fixed line I know] I've made a couple of trips to Wallacea, led to two articles for the South China Morning Post that may be of some interest: https://www.scmp.com/magazines/post-magazine/article/1867807/rediscover-wallacea-walking-footsteps-alfred-russel-wallace https://www.scmp.com/magazines/post-magazine/travel/article/2046184/indonesias-maluku-islands-real-get-away-it-all Also a couple of short films on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hP5KTei3Xiw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtw6yKUj38k My most viewed short film from Indonesia is from Ujung Kulon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDIELPWYqvY&t=1s - it's a tough place to get to! But there are easier, wonderful places; and some great people working as wildlife guides etc. Supporting these places and guides may in turn also help protect wildlife, which I believe is a huge part of heritage for people of Indonesia and the world. [I have also experienced many areas with almost no birdlife, as a result of bird trade; know this is very hard to combat] Well, I hope this is of some interest. Best regards, Martin Williams
